Articles

The California Law Review is currently reviewing articles submission for Fall 2010. We welcome your submissions beginning August 9, 2010.

We strongly prefer submissions via the online submissions service, ExpressO. We also accept submissions at the following address:

Submission Requirements

1) Articles should be 25,000 words or less (including footnotes). We may consider submissions of up to 35,000 words.  We appreciate single-spaced text and footnotes.

2) Citations should conform to the 19th edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation.

3) Please include the following contact information:

Expedite Requests

Expedite requests should be made online, via ExpressO.

For hard-copy submissions, expedite requests may be emailed to the California Law Review. The subject line of the request should read: “Last Name, First Name, Expedite Date, Article Title”

N.B.

Regrettably, CLR is not able to confirm reception of an expedite request. An Articles Editor will only be in contact if there is interest in the piece. If more time is needed to review an article, CLR will contact the author and request an extension.
